This morning, the Mobility Councillor of the Municipality of Rome, Eugenio Patanè, accompanied by the management of the Metro C Consortium S.C.p.A. and the technicians from Roma Metropolitane, had the opportunity to inspect the progress of the construction site of the Porta Metronia station of Line C of the Rome Metro.
Inside the construction site, the reinforced concrete works of the station have been completed, and work on the interior finishes is currently in progress. The construction of the floors that will house the archaeological structures found during the excavations is nearing completion, in accordance with the project agreed upon with the Special Superintendency for Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape of Rome.
In particular, the ancient structures of the Caserma and the Casa del Comandante will be repositioned in the same location where they were discovered during the excavations related to the construction of Line C station.
