Metro C, with a continuous improvement mindset, participated in the World Quality Week promoted by the CQI – Chartered Quality Institute from November 8th to 12th. This organization celebrates and advocates for quality process management.
The aim of joining this initiative was to share and develop a common culture within our construction sites regarding quality and to contribute to the overall success of the organization by making processes more effective and efficient.
With these objectives in mind, Metro C organized various moments of discussion and training with internal staff and contractors, focusing on the close relationship between ‘quality and sustainability’ as a means to “improve products, people, and the planet.”
The first training session took place on Wednesday, November 10th, involving contractors and personnel working on the construction sites of the future Line C.
On November 11th, in celebration of World Quality Day, all personnel were invited to wear a commemorative sticker to participate in this significant moment of sharing.
All direct and indirect personnel were encouraged to complete a questionnaire aimed at assessing their knowledge of sustainability-related topics, the United Nations’ Agenda 2030, and to express their perception of the project’s importance.
Lastly, on Friday, November 12th, a training session was held at the field in Via dei Gordiani for all Metro C personnel. During this session, an informative brochure was presented, covering the principles of sustainability, quality, integrated management systems, and Metro C’s commitment to these topics.
